## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRMAN LANDED HIS CONVENTIONAL GEAR CE-150 ON A DIRT RUNWAY ALONG AT TYPICALLY DRY RIVER WASH. AFTER LANDING, AIRMAN TAXIED TO EAST END OF RUNWAY TO MARK POSITION ON GPS. AS AIRMAN GOT CLOSER TO THE EAST END, HE REALIZED RUNWAY SURFACE WAS SOFT IN THAT AREA DUE TO RECENT RAINS AND ATTEMPTED TO MAKE A 180 TURN. DURING HIS TURN HE FELT THE AIRCRAFT SINK SLOWLY INTO THE MUD AND BECOME STUCK. PRIOR TO ENGINE SHUT DOWN, AIRMAN STATES HE REALIZED THE PROP TIP MADE CONTACT WITH THE WET SURFACE. AIRMAN RETURNED THE FOLLOWING DAY WITH ASSISTANCE. THE AIRMAN WHO IS ALSO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC, DRESSED THE PROP TIP AND WITH THE HELP OF OTHERS REMOVED THE AIRCRAFT FROM THE MUD AND WAS ABLE TO DEPART.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
