## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON THURSDAY, MARCH 3, 2005, N3RY, A CESSNA 208B, ON A FLIGHT FROM OMAHA, NEBRASKA, TO DENVER, COLORADO, EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF OIL PRESSURE FOLLOWED BY A DECREASE IN ENGINE POWER 15 MINUTES AFTER DEPARTURE. THE PILOT AND SOLE OCCUPANT OF THE AIRCRAFT PERFORMED AN EMERGENCY LANDING AT THE INTERSECTION OF 204TH AND WEST CENTER ROAD. INITIAL MAINTENANCE INVESTIGATION REVEALED A SIGNIFICANT LOSS OF ENGINE OIL. THE ENGINE WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS FERRIED TO OMAHA EPPLEY AIRFIELD FOR A PERMANENT REPAIR TO THE LEFT WING LEADING EDGE. THERE WAS NO ADDITIONAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRFRAME. THE ENGINE WAS SHIPPED TO STANDARD AERO FOR TEARDOWN ANALYSIS THAT WILL BE WITNESSED BY PRATT AND WHITNEY. A COMPLETED SDR WILL BE FORWARDED BY THE CERTIFICATE HOLDER TO THE CHDO AFTER ENGINE TEARDOWN ANALYSIS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
