## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON SUNDAY MARCH 06, 2005 AT THE ORLANDO EXECUTIVE AIRPORT, A CESSNA 180 AMPHIBIAN AIRCRAFT REGISTRATION NUMBER N180VM EXECUTED A GEAR-UP LANDING ON RUNWAY 31. PILOT FAILED TO EXTEND LANDING GEAR WHEN SETTING UP FOR THE LANDING. PILOT HAD BEEN EXECUTING WATER LANDINGS EARLIER IN THE DAY. UPON ENTERING ORLANDO EXECUTIVE AIRSPACE, PILOT EXPERIENCED RADIO DIFFICULTIES. IN ADDITION, PILOT WAS TIVEN RUNWAY 25 BUT DUE TO TRAFFIC IN PATTERN WAS LATER OFFERED 31 LATER DURING THE LANDING SEQUENCE. PILOT WORKLOAD WAS COMPOUNDED WITH USING A HAND HELD RADIO. AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED ONLY MINOR DAMAGE TO BOTH FLOATS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
