## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE SUBJECT AIRCRAFT DEPARTED ZEHNDER FIELD (66G), MI ENROUTE TO FREMONT AIRPORT MI ON 03/06/05. THE SUBJECT AIRCRAFT LANDED AT FREMONT AIRPORT, THEN IT TOOK OFF FROM FREMONT AND WAS ENROUTING BACK TO ZEHNDER AIRPORT IN FRANKENMUTH MI. THE FRANKENMUTH TOWER INFORMED THE PILOT THE LEFT MAIN WHEEL IS MISSING. THE TOWER DIRECTED HIM TO CONTACT MBS TOWER, BECAUSE IT WILL HAVE LESS DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT LANDING ON THE HARD SURFACE. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED AT MBS AIRPORT, MINOR DAMAGE TO THE LEFT BRAKE DRUM AND PAD AND NO PERSONAL INJURY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
