THE MICROPHONE JACK RECEPTACLE WAS BENT TO 90 DEGREES TO THE CONTROL COLUMN ON THE COPILOT SIDE. IT APPEARS THAT THE JACK RECEPTACLE AND/OR THE MICROPHONE JACK MAY HAVE PREVENTED THE CONTROL COLUMN FROM MOVING AFT WHEN THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO ROTATE THE AIRCRAFT.
