## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE INSPECTOR WAS NOTIFIED BY AN UNIDENTIFIED PERSON THAT AN INCIDENT MAY HAVE OCCURRED AT THE TOWN AND COUNTRY AIRPARK (F82), IN LUBBOCK, TEXAS. THE INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT ON MARCH 12, 2005, THE PILOT TAXIED FOR TAKE-OFF AND HAD A PROPELLER STRIKE AFTER THE TAXIED THROUGH A DIP IN THE PAVED RUNWAY THAT WAS IN REPAIR AND UNMARKED. THE PILOT WAS UNAWARE OF THE PROP STRIKE AND DEPARTED. AFTER DEPARTURE AND WHILE IN CRUISE, THE PILOT NOTICED A VIBRATION AND MADE A PRECAUTIONARY LANDING AT MIDLAND AIRPARK. THE PILOT INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND FOUND THAT HE HAD A PROP STRIKE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
