## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON MARCH 18, 2005, AT 0100 EASTERN STANDARD TIME, A SIKORSKY SK-76-A MODEL HELICOPTER, N322LF, ENCOUNTERED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE HELICOPTER WHILE TAXIING AFTER RETURNING FROM A 14 CFR PART 91 REPOSITIONING FLIGHT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT, THE SOLE CREWMEMBER ON BOARD. THE PILOT, WHILE REPOSITIONING TO THE HANGAR FACILITY, ALLOWED THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR TO ROLL OFF THE HARD SURFACE AND SINK INTO ADJACENT SOFT TERRAIN CAUSING THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR TO FOLD AND THE AIRCRAFT TO LIST OVER TO ITS RIGHT SIDE AND COME TO REST ON THE EXTERNALLY MOUNTED NIGHTSUN SEARCH LIGHT. MINOR DAMAGE WAS NOTED TO BE R/H MAIN GEAR AND TO THE RIGHT FUSELAGE NIGHTSUN AS WELL AS THE FUSELAGE HONEYCOMB-MOUNTING SURFACE FOR THE NIGHTSUN.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
