## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) DURING LANDING THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN AND THEN "BALLOONED" INTO THE AIR. THE PILOT ADDED ENGINE POWER, HOWEVER, THE AIRCRAFT LANDED A SECOND TIME, STRIKING THE PROPELLER AND NOSE GEAR FIRST. THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY AND STRUCK A RUNWAY LIGHT WITH THE HORIZONTAL STABILATOR. THE PILOT BROUGHT THE AIRCRAFT BACK ON THE RUNWAY AND THEN TAXIED TO HIS HANGAR. THE AIRCRAFT'S FIREWALL WAS BUCKLED AND ITS RIGHT STABILATOR WAS DISPLACED AFT APPROXIMATELY SIX INCHES.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
