## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT'S STATEMENT: MARCH 20, 2005 I WAS FLYING BACK FROM NORTH ELEUTHERA. WHEN I WAS TWENTY MILES SOUTHEAST OF PALM BEACH MY ENGINE STOPPED. I WENT THROUGH ALL THE PROCEDURES TO SECURE THE ENGINE. I MAINTAINED FULL CONTROL OF THE SITUATION AND RADIOED PBI TO LET THEM KNOW THE PLANE'S LEFT ENGINE STOPPED. AT THAT TIME I HAD THREE PASSENGERS ON BOARD, WE LANDED SAFELY ON RUNWAY 31 WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENTS. THE AIRCRAFT WAS N3836C, AN AC500.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
