## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT WAS ON A FLIGHT FROM ORLANDO EXEC. TO WINSTON-SALEM, NC IN PIPER N2895L. MOST OF THE FLIGHT WAS IN IMC CONDITIONS AT 9000'. THE PILOT WAS CLEARED FOR AN ILS APPROACH TO RUNWAY 33 AT INT. THE PILOT STATED THAT THE APPROACH WAS "BUMPY" AND THAT HE PERFORMED HIS FINAL "GUMP" CHECK AT THE INNER MARKER. HE REALIZED AT THE LAST MINUTE THAT HE DID NOT HAVE 3 GREEN, BUT HE WAS TOO LOW AND COMMITED TO LAND AT THAT POINT. HE LANDED ON RUNWAY 33 WITH THE GEAR UP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
