THE AIRCRAFT MADE HARD CONTACT WITH THE PAVED RUNWAY, COLLAPSING THE NOSE LANDING GEAR STRUT TO THE POINT THAT THE PROPELLER CONTACTED THE SURFACE. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE MAY HAVE CONCENTRATED TOO MUCH ON THE POINT OF TOUCHDOWN TO THE DETRIMENT OF ADEQUATE AIRSPEED.
