## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N177MJ, PIC ^PRIVACY DATA OMIT^ (CFI) & STUDENT PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA ^ DEPARTED OSU AIRPORT AND ATTEMPTED TO LAND AT MFD AIRPORT. UPON LANDING AT MFD AIRPORT THE LANDING GEAR APPARENTLY COLLAPSED AND THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A REST ON RUNWAY 14. THE AIRCRAFT WAS LIFTED FROM THE RUNWAY AND THE GEAR EXTENDED MANUALLY. LANDING OPERATION SEEMED NORMAL AND FREE OF ANY MECHANICAL DISCREPANCIES. THE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS MINOR AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PASSENGERS ON BOARD THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
