## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ AIRCRAFT WAS AT CRUISE ATTITUDE WHEN THE MASTER CAUTION LIGHT ILLUMINATED INDICATING THAT THE OIL PRESSURE WAS DROPPING ON THE #2 ENGINE. PILOT EXECUTED AN EMERGENCY SHUT DOWN AND CONTACTED CENTER FOR AN EMERGENCY LANDING AT THE FAIRBANKS ALASKA AIRPORT APPROXIMATELY 120 MILES OUT. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED AT 3 AM ON APRIL 1ST 2005 WITHOUT INCIDENT AT THE FAIRBANKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS TAXIED TO FRONTIER FLYING SERVICE WHERE THE AIRCRAFT WAS INSPECTED AND FOUND TO HAVE A LEAKING OIL COOLER ON THE #2 ENGINE. THE AIRCRAFT WAS REPAIRED AND RETURNED TO SERVICE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
