## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON APRIL 7, 2005, AT 1230 MDST, A CAMAIR, N55FM REGISTERED TO THE PILOT, SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE FROM A HARD LANDING AT SANTA FE AIRPORT, SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO WHILE ON A PLEASURE FLIGHT IN THE LOCAL AREA. THE AIRCRAFT IS A MULTI-ENGINE (TWIN), EXPERIMENTAL AMATEUR BUILT, WITH CONVENTIONAL LANDING GEAR. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME AND A VFR FLIGHT PLAN HAD NOT BEEN FILED. THE PILOT AND ONLY OCCUPANT DID NOT RECEIVE ANY INJURIES. THE PILOT IS A CERTIFICATED PRIVATE PILOT BUT DOES NOT HOLD A MULTI-ENGINE RATING. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM SANTA FE, NM AT 1115 MDST.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
