## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CHI05LA097](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CHI05LA097), Apr 13, 2005: Cessna 310 (N3622D), Clear Lake, MN, substantial damage. Probable cause: The collapse of the nose landing gear as a result of the pilot performing improper maintenance on the airplane due to his failure to properly safety the nose landing gear door.

## Other reports on N3622D (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19800412038019I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19800412038019I), Apr 12, 1980: Cessna 310 (N3622D), St Cloud, MN, Minor damage. Pilot failed to extend landing gear before landing.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
