## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT N316RP, DEPARTED EZZ USING RUNWAY 17 ON ITS MAIDEN FLIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT HAD FLOWN APPROXIMATELY 6 HOURS PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT. THE PILOT WAS GOING TO MAKE THREE APPROACHED TO LANDING, EACH TIME GETTING A LITTLE LOWER AND SLOWER, WITH THE FINAL APPROACH BEING THE LANDING. ON THE FIRST APPROACH, AFTER PASSING OVER TWO THIRDS OF THE RUNWAY, THE PILOT ADVANCED THE THROTTLE TO GO AROUND WHEN THE ENGINE QUIT. ATTEMPTS TO RESTART THE ENGINE WITH THE STARTER FAILED. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN AT THE DEPARTURE END OF THE RUNWAY, BOUNCED BACK INTO THE AIR, STALLED AND CRASHED ON THE GRASS OVERRUN. THE EMPENNAGE AND ENGINE WAS BROKEN FROM THE CABIN WITH THE CABIN COMING TO REST UPSIDE DOWN IN THE GRASS. THE PILOT CRAWLED FROM THE AIRCRAFT PRIOR TO HELP ARRIVING.
