## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CHI05CA101](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CHI05CA101), Apr 19, 2005: Piper PA-22-160 (N9332D), Gordon, NE, substantial damage. Probable cause: The student pilot's failure to maintain direction control during landing. The pilot lack of familiarity with the airplane was a factor.

## Other reports on N9332D (1)

- [Accident 20030910023519A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/20030910023519A), Sep 10, 2003: Piper PA22160 (N9332D), Billings, MT, Substantial damage. (-23) Pilot states he encountered dust devils upon roll out which ground looped the aircraft.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
