## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON APRIL 22, 2005, WHILE ON APPROACH TO EPPLEY AIRFIELD IN OMAHA, LEAR JET, LR-25-D, N520SR, HAD A LANDING GEAR INDICATION LIGHT FAIL ON ITS PANEL. THE PILOT STATED HE HAD CONFIRMED HE HAD THREE GEAR LIGHTS IN GREEN ON INBOUND LEG, BUT AT OUTER MARKERS HE NOTED ONE WAS NOT ON. PILOT ASKED THE TOWER TO CONFIRM GEAR DOWN AND THEN MADE A GO AROUND TO CONFIRM GEAR WAS DOWN WITH THE THROTTLES WARNING SYSTEM. THE AIRCRAFT THEN LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AT THE AIRPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
