## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) BASED ON THE FINDINGS AT THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT. IT APPEARS THE PILOT ^PRIVACY D^ LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT LANDING WHEN HE ATTEMPTED TO LAND WHEN HE WAS TOO HIGH AND TOO FAST. FROM THE ON SCENE INVESTIGATION WHICH IS SUBSTANTIATED BY EYE WITNESS ACCOUNTS, THE PILOT ^PRIVACY D^ LANDED LONG AND FAST AFTER MAKING SEVERAL SHALLOW "S" TURNS AND SLIPS. HE THEN (UPON SEEING THE END OF THE RUNWAY COMING UP), OVER APPLIED THE BRAKES CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO FLIP OVER ON ITS NOSE.
