## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT WAS TAXIING THE AIRCRAFT TO PARKING FOLLOWING A CARGO TRIP. UPON REACHING A POINT WHERE THE TAXIWAY MAKES A RIGHT TURN, THE PILOT SAW ANOTHER AIRCRAFT BEING RUN-UP. MARKINGS AND A LACK OF SIGNAGE INDICATED THAT THE TAXIWAY ALSO CONTINUED STRAIGHT AHEAD; HOWEVER, IT WAS NOT A CONTINUATION OF THE TAXIWAY BUT A SERVICE ROAD. CONTINUING STRAIGHT AHEAD, THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK AN UNUSED UTILITY POLE WITH THE LEFT WINGTIP. DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS MINOR, AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES OR DAMAGE TO AIRPORT PROPERTY. THE WASHINGTON ADO WAS NOTIFIED OF THE "SIGNAGE" ISSUE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
