## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT STATED: WHILE LANDING ON RWY 03 A GUST OF WIND FROM ABOUT 45%-90% RIGHT SIDE (X-WIND) ABOUT 10KTS, CAUSED THE A/C TO WEATHERVANE TO THE RIGHT. I DID HAVE THE APPROPRIATE X-WIND CONTROLS IN PLACE, LEFT RUDDER-RIGHT AILERON. THEN SUDDENLY THE A/C VEERED TO THE LEFT, THAT IS WHEN THE RIGHT WING TIP CONTACTED THE GROUND, THEN THE A/C TURNED RIGHT AND THE LEFT WTIP STRUCK THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF RUNWAY AND AME TO REST AT THE INTERSECTION OF RWY & RAMP AREA.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
