## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON SUNDAY, MAY 15, 2005, AT 1303 EDT, A MESSERSCHMITT-BLOHM 105S, N105NG, OPERATED BY EMS AIR SERVICES OF NY, INC., EXPERIENCED A TRANSMISSION CHIP DETECTOR LIGHT ILLUMINATION. THE PILOT REPORTED THE TRANSMISSION CHIP DETECTOR LIGHT AND MADE A PRECAUTIONARY LANDING ON A GOLF COURSE IN PERINTON, NY. LOCAL AUTHORITIES RESPONDED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE AIRCRAFT TECHNICIAN REMOVED THE MAIN TRANSMISSION CHIP PLUG AND DID NOT FIND ANY METAL. THE TRANSMISSION CHIP DETECTOR PLUG WAS CLEANDED, REINSTALLED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
