## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) TWENTY MILES SOUTH OF JUNCTION, TEXAS, THE PILOT ^PRIVACY D^ AND ^PRIVACY D^ WERE PURSUING "BLACK BUCKS" (A TYPE OF ANTELOPE) AND FIRING A "NET GUN" TO TRY AND CAPTURE THE ANIMALS. AS THEY CROSSED A RIDGE, THE PILOT DID NOT SEE A POWER LINE. THE RIGHT SKID CAUGHT THE POWER LINE. THE SKID SEPARATED FROM THE HELICOPTER AND THE ROTOR CUT THE TAIL BOOM OFF. THE HELICOPTER IMPACTED THE GROUND. THE HELICOPTER HAD SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE. THE PILOT HAS SERIOUS INJURIES AND WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS.
