## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB DFW05CA128](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/DFW05CA128), May 22, 2005: Bellanca 17-30A (N39821), Houston, TX, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's mismanagement of the fuel and his inadequate monitoring of the fuel supply which resulted in fuel starvation.

## Other reports on N39821 (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19780627035539I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19780627035539I), Jun 27, 1978: Blanca 1730A (N39821), Oshkosh, WI, Minor damage. Smoke in cabin, then alternator cb popped. Overvoltage light inop, overvoltage condition burned wires.
