## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT OF N249Y CALLED THIS OFFICE TO REPORT A GEAR-UP LANDING. HE STATED THAT HE EXPERIENCED INFLIGHT FAILURE OF THE LANDING GEAR SYSTEM AND EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION SYSTEM UPON ARRIVAL AT DEXTER AIRPORT. HE STATED THAT AFTER CYCLING THE GEAR TWICE, THE GEAR EXTENSION INDICATOR LIGHTS WERE NOT ILLUMINATED. HE SAID HE COMPLIED WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE FLIGHT MANUAL, BUT THE GEAR DOWN INDICATORS WERE STILL NOT LIT. HE PULLED THE LANDING GEAR C/B AND ATTEMPTED TO MANUALLY EXTEND THE GEAR, BUT HE SAID THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION HANDLE WOULD NOT TURN. HE LANDED THE AIRPLANE ON THE RUNWAY ON THE BELLY WITH THE GEAR STILL IN THE WELL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
