## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT OF N911EV EXPERIENCED A COMPLETE LOSS OF ENGINE POWER SHORTLY AFTER TAKE-OFF FROM SKAGIT REGIONAL AIRPORT. THE PILOT IMMEDIATELY ESTABLISHED THE AIRCRAFT'S BEST ANGLE OF GLIDE AND LANDED THE AIRCRAFT IN A NEARBY FIELD APPROXIMATELY TWO MILES OFF OF THE AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE NOSE LANDING GEAR AND THE RIGHT AND LEFT FLOAT SPREADER BAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
