## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON MAY 30, 2005, AT 1515 LOCAL TIME A BEECHCRAFT BE-36-A36 SERIAL NUMBER E-1306 REGISTERED AS N2015A, CRASHED DURING A GO-AROUND AT THE HOUSTON SOUTHWEST AIRPORT (AXH) ARCOLA, TEXAS. THE AIRCRAFT IMPACTED THE GROUND BETWEEN TWO (2) TAXIWAYS AND THE RAMP APPROXIMATELY 2000 FEET FROM THE APPROACH END ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF RUNWAY 27. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT DURING THE LANDING ATTEMPT THAT THE AIRCRAFT WAS DRIFTING TO THE LEFT AND WOULD NOT CORRECT TO THE RIGHT. HE THEN ADDED POWER, WHICH DID NOT HELP. AT THAT TIME HE ADDED FULL POWER AND RAISED THE LANDING GEAR. THE PILOT NOTED THAT HE WAS NOT CIRCLING BUT WAS SURE THAT HE WAS NOT IN A STEEP ANGLE OF CLIMB. AT THAT POINT THE AIRCRAFT'S LEFT WING DIPPED AND IMPACTED THE GROUND. THREE (3) PILOTS WITNESSED THE ACCIDENT ON THE GROUND THAT CONCURRED WITH THE PILOT EXCEPT THEY NOTED A HIGH ANGLE OF CLIMB AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS STALLED.
