## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE CREW STATED THAT THE AIRCRAFT WAS VERY STABLE UNTIL SHORT FINAL, ABOUT 100 FEET ABOVE THE TOUCHDOWN ZONE. THE AIRCRAFT STARTED SINKING RAPIDLY AND LOST 10 KNOTS OF AIRSPEED ALMOST INSTANTLY. THE CREW APPLIED FULL THROTTLE AND INITIATED A GO-AROUND. THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO DESCEND AND CONACTED THE RUNWAY WITH THE MAIN LANDING GEAR FIRST FOLLOWED BY NOSE LANDING GEAR CONTACT. THE GO-AROUND WAS COMPLETED AFTER CONTACT WITH THE RUNWAY. THE CREW NOTICED THAT THE LANDING GEAR INDICATOR INDICATED UNSAFE. THEY RECYCLED THE GEAR AND PERFORMED APPROPRIATE TROUBLE SHOOTING. THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AFTER LANDING. THE NOSE GEAR DOWN LOCKS WERE FOUND DAMAGED. MINOR DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, NOSE GEAR AND COWLING RESULTED.
