## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB IAD05LA073](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/IAD05LA073), Jun 4, 2005: de Havilland DHC-6 (N3434), Rittman, OH, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's improper flare and recovery from a bounced landing, which resulted in a stall and subsequent impact with the ground.
