## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ PILOT WAS LANDING ON RUNWAY 24 AT LONESOME PINE AIRPORT (LNP). PILOT REPORTED THAT HE HAD JUST FLOWN THROUGH A THUNDERSTORM AND WAS STILL IN RAIN AT THE TIME OF LANDING. HE STATED THAT HIS "NERVES WERE RATTLED" AFTER FLYING THROUGH THE THUNDERSTORM AND THIS CAUSED HIM TO FORGET TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR. HE DID NOT RECALL HEARING THE GEAR WARNING HORN. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ON THE RUNWAY, SLID APPROXIMATELY 1000 FEET AND CAME TO REST IN GRASS ALONGSIDE THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
