## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) TAKEOFF ABORTED R/W 26R AT CNO. AIRCRAFT RAN OFF RIGHT SIDE OF RUNWAY. A NEW TAILWHEEL WAS INSTALLED ON AIRCRAFT WHICH CHANGED THE ANGLE OF INCIDENT ON THE CANARD WING. WITH THE NEW TAILWHEEL, THE VLOF CHANGED FROM 65MPH TO 75MPH. PILOT STATED AIRCRAFT REMAINED ON GROUND TOO LONG DURING TAKEOFF ROLL. PILOT ABORTED TAKEOFF AT 70MPH. HE THOUGHT AIRCRAFT SHOULD HAVE BEEN AIRBORNE AT 65MPH. DURING ABORT AIRCRAFT DRIFTED TO RIGHT SIDE OF RUNWAY. RUDDER INPUTS WERE INEFFECTIVE BELOW 25MPH. PILOT INTENTIONALLY GROUNDLOOPED AIRCRAFT BUT IN SO DOING DEPARTED RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT WAS NOT DAMAGED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
