## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N2215 LANDED ON RUNWAY 09 AT GRAIN VALLEY - EAST KANSAS CITY AIRPORT (3GV), IN VISUAL CONDITIONS WITH LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS. PILOT STATED THAT THE AIRCRAFT HIT A BUMP DURING LANDING ROLLOUT, OVER THE RUNWAY-NUMBER MARKING, WHICH CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO SWERVE TO THE LEFT. THE LANDING GEAR STRUT WELD FAILED. THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED. THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR AND TAIL WHEEL REMAINED INTACT. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST BESIDE AND TO THE LEFT OF RUNWAY 09. INCIDENT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
