## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AT 2009EDT, SHUTTLE AMERICA FLIGHT #7533 A SF340A, ENROUTE FROM CRW TO IAD DIVERTED AND LANDED ON RUNWAY 03 AT CHO, AFTER REPORTING A BATTERY PROBLEM. THE ARFF RESPONDED AND THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO THE RAMP WITHOUT INCIDENT. FURTHER INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT IN FLIGHT THE L/H HOT BATT LIGHT ILLUMINATED WITH ALL ASSOCIATED RELAYS OPEN. COMPANY MAINTENANCE ARRIVED AND FOUND L/H BATTERY TO BE BAD. REMOVED AND REPLACED L/H BATTERY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
