## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT REPORTED THAT HE WAS ON FINAL APPROACH TO A GRASS RUNWAY WHEN THE STALL LIGHT CAME ON. HE ADDED FULL THROTTLE BUT THE AIRCRAFT HAD SETTLED INTO THE CORN FIELD IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT SLID THROUGH THE CORN FIELD FOR APPROXIMATELY 200 FEET PRIOR TO COMING TO A REST IN A ROADSIDE DITCH JUST PRIOR TO THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AND THE PILOT RECEIVED NO INJURIES AS A RESULT OF THIS EVENT. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
