## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT STATED HE WAS ON A PLEASURE FLIGHT. AFTER REFUELING AT BARSTOW/DAGGET (DAG) AIRPORT, HE WAS HEADING TOWARD VICTORYVILLE AIRPORT (VCV). WHEN HE LOWERED THE GEAR HE HAD INDICATIONS THAT THE NOSE GEAR WAS NOT LOWERED ENTIRELY. HE CONTACTED (VCV) TOWER AND PERFORMED NUMEROUS FLYBYS. THE TOWER CONFIRMED THE NOSE GEAR WAS NOT LOWERED COMPLETELY. THE PILOT CYCLED THE GEAR NUMEROUS TIMES WITH NO FAVORABLE RESULT. THE PILOT THEN LANDED THE AIRCRAFT WITH RESULTING DAMAGE TO THE PROP AND UNDERBELLY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
