## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT DEPARTED PEACH STATE AIRPORT (GA2) ON A VFR FLIGHT TO PONTIAC MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (KPNT) WITH A PLANNED FUEL STOP AT HUNTINGBURG AIRPORT (KHNB). PILOT FILED A VFR FLIGHT PLAN AND OBTAINED A WEATHER BRIEFING FROM THE MACON FSS. ENCOUNTERED ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS EN ROUTE FROM GA2 TO HNB THAT REQUIRED A 40 MILE DEVIATION EAST OF COURSE. AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED FUEL DEPLETION APPROXIMATELY 8 NAUTICAL MILES SOUTH EAST OF HNB AND THE PILOT EXECUTED AN EMERGENCY LANDING IN A BEAN FIELD. THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED AND THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED NO DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
