## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 07/20/2005 AT APPROXIMATELY 1015 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME, A ZODIAC 601XL (EXPERIMENTAL AMATEUR BUILT), N8049E REGISTERED TO AND OPERATED BY A PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL HAD AN EMERGENCY LANDING IN A FIELD SIX MILES ESE OF SPRINGDALE, ARKANSAS AFTER THE ENGINE LOST POWER. FLIGHT DEPARTED DRAKE FIELD (FYV) FAYETTEVILLE ARKANSAS GOING TO BERRYVILLE (4M1) ARKANSAS UNDER VMC CONDITIONS. THE PILOT HAD NOT INJURIES AND THE AIRCRAFT HAD NO STRUCTURAL DAMAGE (LEFT WHEEL PANT TORN OFF).

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
