## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JULY 22, 2005, AT APPROXIMATELY 14:30 HOURS, STUDENT SKYDIVER, ^PRIVACY DATA OMI^ SUFFERED FATAL INJURIES IN A PARACHUTE OPERATION. THE DIVE ORIGINATED AT SKYDIVE SAN MARCOS, IN FENTRESS, TX WITH TWO JUMP MASTERS ASSISTING ^PRIVACY DA^ IN AN AFF2 DIVE. JUMP MASTERS MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO MAKE RADIO CONTACT WITH ^PRIVACY DA^ AS HE FLEW AWAY, UNDER A FULL CANOPY, FROM THE DROP ZONE. ATTEMPS AT RADIO COMMUNICATION WERE UNSUCCESSFUL. ^PRIVACY DA^ WAS FOUND A COUPLE OF MILES AWAY FROM DROP ZONE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
