## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) DURING A LANDING AT THE FALLBROOK AIRPARK, PILOT LOST CONTROL OF HIS BEECH MUSKETEER (BE-23), RAN OFF THE RUNWAY, AND STRUCK ANOTHER AIRCRAFT THAT WAS PARKED ON THE RAMP. THE PARKED AIRCRAFT (CE-180) HAD NO PILOT OR PASSENGERS AT THE TIME. NO INJURIES. BE-23 POSSIBLY TOTALLY DESTROYED (REPORTED BY AIRCRAFT OWNER).

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB LAX05LA247](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/LAX05LA247), Jul 29, 2005: Beech B23 (N6121N), Fallbrook, CA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control during the landing rollout.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
