## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED ON 08-11-05, N792A, A B-727, FLAT SPOTTED 3 MAIN TIRES, EVENTUALLY BLOWING 2 OF THE 3 TIRES UPON LANDING AT THE BARROW AIRPORT. (-23 AMENDMENT) ON 08-11-05, N792A, A B-727, WHILE LANDING AT THE WILEY-POST AIRPORT IN BARROW, ALASKA, FLAT-SPOTTED 3 MAIN TIRES, OF THE THREE, 2 BLEW OUT. THE INITIAL INVESTIGATION REVEALED THE PILOT HAD POSSIBLY APPLIED THE BRAKES BEFORE LANDING, OVERRIDING THE ANTI-SKID SYSTEM. SUBSEQUENT INVESTIGATIONS SHOW SUBSTANTIAL MAINTENANCE ISSUES WITH THIS SPECIFIC AIRCRAFT RELATING TO THE ANTI-SKID SYSTEM AS WELL AS OTHER MAINTENANCE PRACTICES WITH THE COMPANY. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
