As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON AUGUST 21, 2005, AT 2105Z, AIRCRAFT N7399Z, MODEL PA-25-235 WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT WHILE CONDUCTING AERIAL SPRAYING. THE AIRCRAFT LEFT WING CAME IN CONTACT WITH A TREE AS THE PILOT MANEUVERED THE AIRCRAFT IN AN UPWARD DIRECTION AFTER THE APPLICATION OF CHEMICALS ONTO THE FIELD. PIC WORKED 10 TO 14 HOURS A DAY WITH NO DAY OFF SINCE JUNE 3, 2005. THIS WAS CONFIRMED BY A WITNESS STATEMENT FROM A PILOT WHO PERSONALLY KNEW THE PIC.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
