## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON AUGUST 25, 2005, THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DAT^ LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT JUST AFTER TAKEOFF AND DURING INITIAL CLIMB. AT APPROXIMATELY 100 TO 200 FEET AGL, THE PILOT STATED THAT THE LEFT WING DROPPED AND HE COULD NOT REGAIN FULL CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT PRIOR TO IMPACT WITH THE RUNWAY. IT COULD NOT BE DETERMINED IF THERE WAS A RIGHT CROSSWIND OR TAIL WIND AT THE TIME OF DEPARTURE. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE PASSENGER MIGHT HAVE UNINTENTIONALLY BLOCKED THE CONTROLS FROM FULL DEFLECTION. THE AIRPLANE APPEARED TO BE NEAR THE GROSS WEIGHT LIMITS AND COULD HAVE HAD MARGINAL PERFORMANCE LEFT FOR RECOVERY OF ANY ADVERSE FLIGHT CONDITIONS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
