## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE FLIGHT RETURNED TO PITTSBURGH PILOTED BY THE FIRST OFFICER WHO LANDED THE AIRCRAFT SAFELY WITH NO INJURIES TO THE PASSENGERS. FURTHER INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THE CAPTAIN WAS INCAPACITATED AND UNRESPONSIVE IN FLIGHT AND ON THE GROUND AFTER THIS EVENT OCCURRED. CAPTAIN WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL AND IS EXPECTED TO MAKE A FULL RECOVERY. SUBMISSION OF THIS 8020-23 FORM CLOSES THIS INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
