## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) FLIGHT 407 WAS TAXIING TO RUNWAY 7R VIA TAXIWAYS K, E, AND A. WHILE TAXIING ON A THE AIRCRAFT LEFT WING STRUCK A TRUCK THAT WAS SPRAYING WEEDS ON THE SIDE OF THE TAXIWAY. THE SPRAY TRUCK WAS ACCOMPANIED BY A SPOTTER TRUCK WITH AN AIRPORT EMPLOYEE AS THE SPOTTER. THE TRUCKS WERE INSTRUCTED TO GIVE WAY TO ANY TAXIING AIRCRAFT. THE DRIVER OF THE SPOTTER TRUCK WHEN HE NOTICED THE AIRCRAFT TRIED TO SIGNAL THE TRUCK DRIVER OF THE SPRAYING TRUCK BUT WAS UNABLE TO GET HIS ATTENTION IN TIME TO GET THE TRUCK MOVED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
