## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2005, THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ DEPARTED STUTTGART MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, ARKANSAS (SGT), IN N9152Y, A BEECH MODEL 55. THE PURPOSE OF THE FLIGHT WAS TO RELOCATE THE AIRCRAFT FROM SGT TO SKYWEST AIRPORT (7T7) IN MIDLAND, TEXAS. THE FLIGHT WAS CONDUCTED UNDER A SPECIAL FLIGHT PERMIT. UPON ARRIVAL, THE PILOT EXTENDED THE LANDING GEAR AND NOTED A GEAR SAFE INDICATION. DURING LANDING FLARE, THE PILOT NOTICED THE LEFT WING DIP AND REALIZED A LANDING GEAR PROBLEM EXISTED. HE THEN EXECUTED A GO-AROUND AND CONTACTED GROUND PERSONNEL FOR VISUAL VERIFICATION OF THE GEAR POSITION. GROUND PERSONNEL CONFIRMED THE LEFT MAIN GEAR DID NOT EXTEND. THE PILOT CONTINUED CIRCLING AND CYCLED THE GEAR TWO TIMES IN AN ATTEMPT TO FREE THE LEFT MAIN. GROUND PERSONNEL CONTACTED THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND WHEN THE TRUCKS ARRIVED THE PILOT LANDED THE AIRCRAFT AT 7T7 WITH ONLY THE NOSE AND RIGHT MAIN GEAR EXTENDED. NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED AND THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE LEFT PROPELLER AND LEFT FLAP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
