## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMIT^ OWNS AND OPERATED N4246N, A QUICKSILVER MX II AIRCRAFT ON SEPTEMBER 5, 2005. THIS PARTICULAR MODEL OF AIRCRAFT EXCEEDS THE WEIGHT LIMITS OF US CFR 103.1(E)(1), AND CANNOT BE OPERATED AS AN ULTRALIGHT AIRCRAFT. WITNESSES IN THE CHEWELAH, WASHINGTON AREA REPORTED OBSERVING THIS AIRCRAFT PERFORMING LOW LEVEL AEROBATICS OVER THE CITY LIMITS. IN A TELEPHONE INTERVIEW WITH AN FAA INSPECTOR, THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA^ STATED HE HAD COMPLETED SIX TIGHT TURNS OVER A FRIEND'S HOUSE WHEN THE ENGINGE QUIT. HE DETERMINED THE ENGINE QUIT DUE TO FUEL EXHAUSTION, AND LANDED WITH ONE GALLON IN THE TANK. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE NOSE AND RIGHT LANDING GEAR AS A RESULT OF THIS EMERGENCY LANDING. THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA^ DOES NOT HOLD AN FAA PILOT OR MEDICAL CERTIFICATE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
