## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) STATIC/TRANSPONDER AND ELT WERE ALL CURRENT ACCORDING TO LOG BOOK ENTRIES. AIRCRAFT OWNER WILL BE SENDING ENGINE TO REPAIR SHOP FOR REPAIR AND HAS AGREED TO SUPPLY THIS OFFICE WITH A TEAR DOWN REPORT. AIRCRAFT HAD ACCEPTED 37 GALLONS OF JET A FUEL BEFORE DEPARTURE. FUEL FARM WAS INSPECTED. THE FARM MANAGER HAD A SAMPLE TAKEN FROM TANK IMMEDIATELY AFTER ACCIDENT. SAMPLE APPEARED TO BE ADEQUATE. FARM RECORDS REFLECT THAT MILLIPORE SAMPLES HAD NEVER BEEN ACCOMPLISHED. FARM MANAGER WAS IGNORANT OF ATA 103 STANDARDS AND UNAWARE OF REQUIREMENTS. A MILLIPORE CHECK WAS ACCOMPLISHED AND THE WAFER TESTED ACCEPTABLE. THE FARM IS AN UNDERGROUND STAINLESS STEEL VESSEL AND WAS INSTALLED 18 MONTHS AGO. THIS OFFICE HAS REFERRED THE FARM MANAGER TO ATA STANDARDS AND SUGGESTED THE RECORDING SYSTEM/QUALITY MONITORING AND TESTING SYSTEM BE REVIEWED TO MEET STANDARDS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
