## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT ATTEMPTED TO LAND AT THE NORTH LAS VEGAS, AIRPORT RUNWAY 25. PILOT STATED AIRCRAFT WAS IN THE LANDING CONFIGURATION AND FLARING TO LAND WHEN A GUST OF WIND BLEW THE AIRCRAFT TO THE RIGHT OF CENTERLINE. AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO MOVE TO THE RIGHT OF CENTERLINE AND STRUCK A SIGN CAUSING DAMAGE TO PROPELLER, LANDING GEAR AND LEADING EDGE OF THE WING. AT THIS TIME THE DAMAGE DOES NOT MEET THE DEFINITION OF AN ACCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
