## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON SEPTEMBER 9, 2005, AT 1130 EDT, A LANCAIR 360, N436DB, REGISTERED TO THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA ^ ENCOUNTERED A NOSE LANDING GEAR SEPARATION ON LANDING AT HERNANDO COUNTY AIRPORT, BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA, WHILE ON AN EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT PHASE 1 FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE NOSE GEAR ASSEMBLY AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT PILOT COUNTRY AIRPORT, SPRING HILL, FLORIDA AT 1030 HOURS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
