## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N6626Z A BEECHCRAFT E-76 WAS BEING TAXIED AFTER LANDING TO THE AIR AGENCY FACILITY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS OCCUPIED BY THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT. THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR WAS AT THE CONTROLS. AS THE AIRCRAFT NEARED A TURN ON THE TAXIWAY THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO SLOW DOWN AND TURN THE AIRCRAFT TO THE RIGHT CAUSING IT TO VEER SHARPLY TO LEFT. THE TAXIWAY SHOULDER WAS WET DUE TO THE QUANTITY OF RAINS IN PREVIOUS DAYS, THIS CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO CONTINUE ITS PATH INTO A SWALED RETENTION AREA. THE SLOPE OF THE RETENTION AREA CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO CONTINUE ITS PATH DUE TO GRAVITY. THIS WAS FURTHER AGGRAVATED BY THE YAWING MOMENT GENERATED BY THE LEFT BRAKE FUNCTIONING NORMALLY AND THE RIGHT BRAKE NOT FUNCTIONING. THE INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THE RIGHT BRAKE FAILED DUE TO AIR IN THE LINES. BOX 21A ON THE FRONT PAGE INDICATES A SYSTEM FAILURE HOWEVER "OTHER" WAS CHECKED BECAUSE THE SYSTEM DIDN'T FAIL, IT WAS MAINTENANCE RELATED IN REGARDS TO BLEEDING THE AIR OUT OF THE BRAKE LINES. THE AIRWORTHINESS PMI HAS BEEN NOTIFIED AND IS TAKING THE APPROPRIATE ACTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
